All Saints Church
Newton, CO10 0PQ
All Saints Church in the village of Newton Green is the abandoned Anglican church, except the chancel which is still used for worship. The church was built in the 14th Century replacing an erstwhile Norman church. Constructed with flint, stones and bricks, the church has timber-framed porch, west tower, nave, chevrons-decorated arches and windows are its notable exterior features. The interior of the church is decorated with glazed doors, tomb with the effigy of a female, pulpit and stained glass windows. And rightly so, the building is designated as Grade II listed building status. Visit this church for exploring it more.
