The Stone Arch Players have been offering popular and critically-acclaimed theatrical productions since 1967, when it was known as the Mask and Wig Community Theater. Each show is presented eight times in the 110-seat Theatre-in-the-Park in Derry Township Community Park.

The State Theatre began its life as Warner Bros.' "finest theatre" in Central Pennsylvania, opened in October of 1938. It was one of the most popular movie houses in State College, showing the latest blockbusters from Hollywood. But, the movie theater was closed in 2001, and remained closed till its re-opening in 2006, after which it has become one of the most popular venues for a wide range of entertainment events. Located on the campus of Pennsylvania State University and home to the Nittany Lions, you can catch many collegiate games throughout the year.
