»Neverland Ranch

A controversial home of troubled pop star Michael Jackson, Neverland Ranch was built over a sprawling 3,000 acres (1214 hectares). Featuring several rides like the carousal, Ferris wheel, super slides and the works, it became a huge hit with the kids that regularly visited the amusement park. Sadly, since Jackson's death the Peter Pan themed park lays forlorn and abandoned. It has over the years been topic of a lot of celebrity gossip; the latest being that teenage heartthrob Justin Beiber has expressed interested in buying it. MJ fans, however, have already turned into a makeshift, touristy memorial museum, à la Graceland.
