Aaron Lewis is the lead singer of the band Staind. Lewis formed Staind in Massachusetts, where he grew up, and even though the group was known for its hard rock sound they performed multiple acoustic shows. He had played solo shows prior to forming Staind, but didn't release his debut LP Town Line until 2011. His debut single "Country Boy" features a verse by George Jones and a spoken word segment by legendary fiddler Charlie Daniels. Tow Line presents audiences with a different side of Aaron Lewis, since he has written lyrics about the American heartland, instead of the miseries of life.

A true fusion of opera and klezmer music, "The Property" brings to life the acclaimed graphic novel by Rutu Modan ("Exit Wounds"). Following the death of her father, archivist Mica travels from Chicago to Warsaw with her grandmother Regina to reclaim family property lost during World War II. As the trip progresses, Regina has to face her painful past, including a former lover, and Mica begins to wonder if they had other reasons for coming there. Wlad Marhulets, who has worked on Hollywood films like "The Giver", composed this chamber opera, commissioned by Lyric Unlimited. Starring acclaimed singers Jill Grove and James Maddalena and featuring members of the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, get swept away on an emotional journey as "The Property" makes its world premiere at Chicago's Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts.
