After a 10-year, $2 million community fund-raising effort, this 1,200 seat auditorium opened in December 1995. These massive funds, along with $6.2 million in state matching grants, have produced an excellent venue that has showcased the diverse talents of performers like the Flying Karamazov Brothers, Paula Poundstone and the Chicago Jazz Ensemble with Kurt Elling. Resident companies include The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, The Park Forest Singers, The American Dance Center and The Suburban Youth Symphony. Plenty of free parking space is available.
