Eric Sardinas
Reggie's Music JointMarch 07, 2015 7:00 PM
2105 South State Street
Chicago, IL 60616
Take an old school delta blues guitarist, blend him with a modern virtuoso guitar player and boom--voila, you've got Eric Sardinas. The guitarist, who traces his origins to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has a deep affection for erstwhile bluesmen like Muddy Waters and Elmore James, as well as guitar shredders like Steve Vai. This love affair of different genres manifests itself in an original way through Sardinas' guitar playing--which is nearly unmatched by any other six-string slinger on the touring circuit today.

88 Fingers Louie
Reggie's Rock ClubMarch 07, 2015 8:00 PM
2105 South State Street
Chicago, IL 60616
Initially formed in Chicago in 1993, 88 Fingers Louie is hardcore punk outfit that has maintained its characteristic sound over the course of various records and hiatuses. Though the band's 1995 debut album,Behinds Bars, was met with widespread acclaim, internal friction drove 88 Fingers Louie to its first breakup in 1996. After a short reunion in 1998, the group disbanded again, and this time it remained inactive for a decade until 2009, when it held a reunion show at Chicago's Riot Fest. The band managed to excite its following with a short touring stint over the course of the following year, but by the time it was 2010, it had fallen into yet another period of inactivity. 88 Fingers Louie was back at it by 2013, and the band has since continues to spread its pop punk music onto broader audiences.

The Theatre at Meiley-SwallowMarch 08, 2015 3:00 PM
31 S Ellsworth St
Naperville, IL 60540
He left audiences in stitches with "Barefoot in the Park" and "The Odd Couple", and Neil Simon turns the comedy dial up to 11 in "Rumors". A farce in the grand door-slamming, ridiculous-lie-piled-atop-ridiculous-lie tradition, "Rumors" starts swirling when Charlie, the Deputy Mayor of New York, invites his society pals to a swanky black-tie party at his townhouse. What could go wrong? Well, Charlie shooting himself in the earlobe certainly sends the action in a decidedly wacky direction. And his wife is nowhere to be found. One comic mishap after another whips up this frothy and funny evening of misunderstanding, intrigue and (yep) rumors. This production of "Rumors" is put on by BrightSide Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Theatre in Naperville.
