    Chicago, IL 60616
Highly influential British guitarist Allan Holdsworth began performing in 1969, working his way up the studio musician ladder and was eventually asked to perform and tour with Bill Bruford's band UK, which included members of Roxy Music and King Crimson. By the late 80s, Holdsworth began releasing solo work and experimenting with unusual self-made baritone guitars, most notably the SynthAxe. Cited by many modern guitarists as one of their biggest influences, Allan Holdsworth remains a living guitar legend, touring and releasing new material occasionally.
