This April 18th, we will connect over 100 businesses, non-profits, colleges, government institutions, and other organizations both local and nationwide with hundreds of Chicago-area teens and their families. And we'll be doing it with style. Watch Vegas speed-painter Aaron Kizer in action, hear hot new Chicago pop band The Fall Four, witness innovative networking in action, and much much more! For organizations: Introduce yourselves to the teens of Southwest Chicago! Whether or not you cater to teenagers, we know that they want to learn more about what you do -- be it law, plumbing, engineering, non-profit development, or something else entirely. We encourage organizations of all shapes and sizes to reserve a booth and tell their stories.  You won't be coming in cold, either -- a team of local teenagers will help you craft your message and put your best foot forward this April 18th.  If you are interested in becoming one of our Premiere Event Sponsors (3) please contact us directly at for more information. For teens: The Yolobe Teen Expo packs it all! From cool entertainment (did we mention speed-painting and The Fall Four?) to awesome opportunities, come join us for a good time. Local organizations are coming out to help you open doors and discover your passions. Come armed with curiosity! We guarantee that you'll have fun connecting with professionals and learning about valuable services that can help you succeed. Who knows -- maybe you'll even come away with a lead on a job or internship.  We hope to see you there! Register today. Space is limited!   Frequently Asked Questions Does my organization have to cater to teenagers? Absolutely not. This event is about connecting people from all walks of life and all types of organizations with curious teenagers. We want the teenagers from Southwest Chicago to develop contacts with people like you. The event is more about the great people working at your organization than the service or products you create. So whether you are an electrician, mortgage broker, real estate agent, musician, lawyer, doctor, government employee, restaurant owner, actor, consultant, banker or WHATEVER come help us create new connections for these teenagers. We believe strong connections create opportunity and with opportunity we can help positively shape the lives of the young adults in Southwest Chicago. And lest we not forget, organizations that come will be paired with a small team of teenagers to help you prepare for the event. It is as much an awesome opportunity for them as it is for you! Why should I sponsor the Yolobe Teen Expo? You mean, beside the fact that your involvement will show that you care about young adults and the community, your employees will love you, and youll get a chance to connect with teens? For starters, the Yolobe Teen Expo is great exposure for any organization that wants to maintain a strong reputation, period. Even better, participation can drive both direct and indirect revenue for businesses, and can help all kinds of organizations tap into the tough-to-reach teen demographic, perhaps to recruit teen volunteers or to recruit students. As a sponsor, you may be given the opportunity to speak at the Expo.   Help! I want to be a part of the solution, how can we present to teens? We understand that the Yolobe Teen Expo is a new type of event, and we are going to help you put your best foot forward! Every organization that sponsors a booth at the event will be paired with a team of teens who will help you craft your message and hone the delivery.   It sounds like you guys are doing cool things! But my organization doesnt work with or market to teens. Well then, what are you waiting for! For organizations that dont cater directly to teens, the Yolobe Teen Expo is an incredible chance to show that you care about young adults in the community. This event is not just about working with or marketing to teens -- we want to put a human face to every aspect of our community. More than anything, we want to connect teens with genuine people with real passions, dreams, and insecurities. Teens can learn what it means to be an adult, and you can learn to be a teen again! Does an adult need to accompany me? No! This event is being created and run by teenagers! You do not need an adult to come with you. Bring your friends and enjoy the experience.   Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Everyone is welcome! There are no ID requirements for this event, nor will we turn anyone away.   Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can reach us at anytime and for any reason by writing to us at or calling us at 443.413.4038.   Is my registration/ticket transferrable? General admissions ticket-holders are free to transfer tickets for their hearts' content! For organizations purchasing a table, please contact us directly at or call us at 443.413.4038 if you need to transfer your registration to a different organization.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? A printed ticket is not required.   What is the refund policy? We are happy to refund you for any reason and at any time. Our goal is for this experience to be great and we will strive to exceed your expectations. Please allow up to 30 days for refunds to appear back in your account.   The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? For general admissions, we welcome anyone! Written by American playwright Jon Robin Baitz, Other Desert Cities is a stage production that tackles the great political divide in the US through the story of one family. Split into conservative and liberal activists, the family's competing political preferences and personal narratives summon questions of truth, loyalty, and social responsibility through a balance of comedy and drama.
