    Solitary Confinement
Jedlicka Performing Arts Center November 02, 2014 3:00 PM
    3801 South Central Avenue
    Cicero, IL 60804
From playwright Rupert Holmes, whose "Accomplice" was a hit last season for JPAC, comes this rarely performed gem. In "Solitary Confinement", an eccentric and reclusive multi-millionaire becomes the intended murder victim of a crazed psychopath. Contacted and taunted by the murderer, his isolation has made it nearly impossible to summon help as he awaits the inevitable. Holmes has been a success in everything from songwriting to novels and more, but he's probably best known for his 1985 Tony Award-winning musical "Drood" and his 2007 Drama Desk Award-winning book for the Broadway musical "Curtains".

New York Hardcore scene founders Sick of It All have been releasing albums and touring nonstop for the past twenty years, with no intention of stopping. Maturing its sound with tinges of heavy metal and screamo, but maintaining the standard hardcore style that it helped pioneer, Sick of It All still considers itself the main presence in the New York hardcore genre.
