The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) is a fully facilitated marine research and study institution. The center started in 1930 and since then has been fascinating the world with their findings. The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is the organization that discovered the Titanic. Don’t miss their exhibits of the find, the research and photographs. The facility also has a few regular publications like Oceanus Magazine. At the facility, you can visit the Ocean Science Exhibit Center to learn more about marine animals, the work the facility does and a whole lot of other interesting facts about the sea. They have developed vessels that aid you to travel to the depths of the ocean. The institute also organizes a number of events like their regular walks through the facility that is usually shut to outsiders. They also organize interactive workshops.
