The menu features mostly Italian-American dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The Brie Cheese Puff Pastry comes delicious and flaky, garnished with almonds, fresh berries, and raspberry sauce. Thick cut pork chops, strip steak, and pistachio-lime halibut are served in generous proportions. Risottos, pastas, and a fabulous roasted lamb stew round out the entrées. Anyone looking for sweet and savory food made from scratch with all-natural ingredients need not look any further than Layers Bakery Cafe. Being a bakery, Layers has cookies, cakes, and all the other sweets one would expect. Being a cafe, they also serve quiche, salads, soups and sandwiches. Layers uses organic ingredients whenever possible and their menu items are seasonal, based on the availability of ingredients. Stop on in for a breakfast panini or wrap or pop in for lunch and try their meatloaf sandwich.
