When it comes to surf guitar, few names come to mind quicker than the legendary Dick Dale. Born in Boston in 1937, Dale was a true innovator of the electric guitar in his heyday, taking advantage of now customary rock and roll techniques involving reverb and custom made amplifiers. His interest in music--as well as the surf culture he'd build his image upon--came in 1954, when his family moved to Southern California. A natural left-handed musician, Dale only had access to a right-handed guitar, which he taught himself to play upside down. This makeshift approach led to the unmistakable trademark style on tracks like "Miserlou" (famously used in the opening credits of Pulp Fiction), and helped breed the decades worth of success Dale has enjoyed as the undisputed "King of the Surf Guitar."

    5345 Landmark Place
    Greenwood Village, CO 80111
Brad Williams is a comedian and actor from Orange County, California who got his start after a chance encounter with fellow comedian Carlos Mencia. While attending one of Mencia's comedy shows, he was invited onstage and impressed the veteran funny man with his quick jokes and ability to laugh at himself. Williams was subsequently invited to join Mencia on tour as an opening act and the two comedians have been touring together ever since. Using comedy as a way to make light of the everyday challenges and encounters he faces, William largely focuses on dwarfism in his brand of comedy. He released his debut full-length album Coming Up Short, in 2011 and shortly after began hosting a podcast called About Last Night with Adam Ray.
