The well-known Monumento às Bandeiras, by Victor Brecheret stands as one of the symbols of São Paulo. Shopping in São Paulo can be found on posh Oscar Freire Street (Rua Oscar Freire), Avenida Europa (automobiles) and the crowded Rua Vinte e Cinco de Março. Only a short drive away is the the beach resort of Guarujá, which is great for day trips. There are three major airports in the São Paulo metropolitan area.
