April 01, 2015 4:30 PM

This walk is to bring awareness to Autism and raise money for three families with children affected by Autism. For two of the children, the donations will go to necessary tutoring needed for math courses. The third child is nonverbal, and his family is looking for donations to help with a sensory room they are building in their garage. The room will help him relieve his frustration when he is unable to communicate his wants and needs. Most importantly, the room is necessary for his safety and growth. Sign- in time is from 4:30pm- 6:00pm, and the walk will begin at 6:15pm. Remember to print out your ticket and bring it to the event. Jambalaya and koooz (a sweet ice treat) will be sold. There will also be vendors with resource information for Autistic children and adults. Come out for a great time! Thank you for your donations!

A wildly innovative musical theater experience, STOMP is a non-narrative immersion into percussion and dance. Using non-traditional objects to create intricate, pounding and overlapping rhythmic compositions, the show originated in Britain as a two-man dance troupe in the late 1980s. Since its West End debut in 1991, the show has developed into an international sensation with various satellite productions in cities around the world. Transcending generation, age and culture, STOMP brings a unique blend of urban style and tribal dance to the masses.
