They also have research stations on Great Duck Island and Mount Desert Rock, and a research vessel (MV Osprey). The college has five gardens such as the Sunken Garden, Community Organic Garden, Newlin Gardens, Turrets Sea Side and Beatrix Farrand Garden.
Open from June to October, this ferry provides service to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia that takes a little over two hours. A casino, bar, restaurant, movies, and viewing decks are on board. Exciting overnight packages to Canada are also available.
