Warehouse Saloon & Billiards is not just a bar but an exceptional twenty-four years old sports bar. Exceptional because this one has lot to offer other than just drinks. As you enter, you will realize that the people in there are quite casual, having their drinks, watching the game on to big TV screen and so on. Now there are quite a few things one can do at this bar. If you love darts or even if you want to try it, there exists a dart board, where you can try your luck. Three to four foosball tables to add to the fun. Not to mention the mini-arcade section. And the biggest of 'em all is the room full of pool tables, where people just cant get enough of it. Oh! And how could one forget about the drinks especially when they are available at great prices and the staff good at their service. The bar does have karaoke nights too along with some live music. It's complete sports bar to many.

ThunderCloud Subs is Austin's independent version of Subway and/or Quizno's. Also, just like both these well-known restaurants, they are popping up like wild mushrooms throughout the city. This particular location is in the strip center, under the Berkshire SoCo Apartments. For a super healthy meal, opt for the Veggie Delight (cream cheese or hummus, avocado, sprouts, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions), add char-grilled chicken, a side of baked potato chips, and an iced tea flavored with fresh lime and lemon wedges. Ruin all of that with their handmade brownies, cake slices, and/or cookies for dessert.
Fry Baby is located down South Congress, amongst a cluster of food trucks. It offers all types of fried foods, from jalapeno poppers to shrimp po'boys. What they have mastered however, is their fish and chips dish. The latter can be substituted for some of the best sweet potato fries you will ever have. On a sunny day, it is a great place to catch a quick, low-cost lunch. There is plenty of seating available, and the amicable owner walks around talking to the customers. Once you are done, you are just a stone's throw from some amazing cupcakes.
Trudy's Tex-Mex has joined other companies harnessing the explosive growth of South/Far South Austin by opening a location outside of Regal Theatres. While this restaurant is not as popular as the one by the UT campus, it is more spacious with less of a wait (even on a Saturday night). Those of age can indulge in a Frozen Strawberry Margarita or Mexican Martini with the accompanying chips & salsa. Pork Carne Asada is to die for, with tender pork tenderloin chunks swimming in jalapeño de arbol sauce, a side of Mexican rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and tortillas. Again, while this is not the hottest spot of the three locations, the food proves it doesn't matter where you are.
Patsy's Cowgirl Cafe, a cafe that opens up late in the morning, is quite pleased to serve its customers an early brunch or breakfast for that matter. It's a decent place to enjoy some good American cuisine. Live music to set the mood in the evening. The menu is quite diverse which will take you by surprise. Besides that, the service is good enough to leave you satisfied till you leave the cafe.
