Reminiscent of a Parisian cafe, this busy, well-appointed uptown bakery and cafe offers breakfast and lunch. Voted 'Atlanta's Best Breads and Pastries', the Corner Cafe offerings are wonderful. Few can resist the warm, French baguettes made daily, or the extravagant array of dessert delicacies. If retro music is what you like, then Hole in the Wall is your kind of place. This lounge has some funky decor with murals, leather couches and disco lights that give it a distinct look. The Hole is a favorite amongst locals and tourists and is generally crowded, so head early if you want a table. It also serves good food and there's plenty of space to dance.
Istanblue is an elegant addition to the Buckhead restaurant scene. With great Turkish dishes and a fully stocked bar with some of the most talented bar masters serving up deliciously unique and flavorful cocktails, Istanblue has become a neighborhood favorite. An upscale Irish pub with a jovial atmosphere, Fadó has had much of the furniture, masonry and decor imported from Ireland. The pub even sells Irish collectibles and sponsors Atlanta's local Gaelic football team. The menu includes smoked salmon bites, shepherd's pie and fish and chips. Plenty of Guinness and Harp sold on draft, as well as fine Irish whiskeys, best enjoyed during Happy Hour from 4p to 7p, Monday through Friday.
