    Classified as a championship course, the 18-hole Chastain links terrain attracts a bevy of golf enthusiasts, especially on weekends. The stately stone clubhouse is modeled after country estates in Scotland and Wales, and provides a romantic backdrop for an afternoon of golf.     The Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the largest spectacles of plant life in the Southeast.     The most expansive and popular of Atlanta's city parks was originally laid out for the Cotton States and International Exposition of 1895, and it now attracts more than 2 million visitors annually. Built in 1996 for the Olympic games, the competition pool is a great place to indulge in competitive laps. The aquatic center has comfortable stadium seating, a diving pool, spa and water slides. The swimming facility is mostly used by the university's swimming teams. The arena also has facilities for swimming camps and water polo practice.
