A favorite activity both for Puget Sound families and its visitors is to head out to one of the local farms for the day. This is both a popular and a thriving industry, but this farm remains among the favored few nonetheless. Picking berries is popular in the summer months (you get to take what you pluck), and picnics are a hoot all year round. Tours are also available for those with limited farm experience.
Dagmars Marina is one of the largest dry moorage facilities in the Northwest. Dagmars' central Puget Sound location means access to beautiful destinations such as the San Juan Islands, as well as some of the best fishing around.
The wise folks on the Everett City Council decided in 1998 to refurbish this park, which was certainly looking the worse for wear. Fortunately, the overhaul has done a lot to bring it back to life. Its new playground is one of the biggest in the area, and the summer music program for children is very popular and runs on Tuesdays at noon throughout the summer months. The park is also home to a public golf course.
The Port of Everett Marina provides moorage for more than 2,000 boats. The marina is protected by approximately 1,800 lineal feet of guest moorage that is available on the marina's two breakwater floats located at the entrance.

This incredible 134-acre camping park has 88 tent sites, two restrooms, two showers, picnic sites, 6,700 feet of rocky shoreline and beach, five miles of trails, and a 1/2 mile nature trail with 18 interpretive stations. It has an amphitheater which offers programs in the summer months and a launching ramp. Enjoy boating, fishing, seasonal clamming, hiking, camping, nature study, scuba diving, bird watching, and picnicking while at this park.
This Everett park forms a good companion to the town's other major picnicking attraction, Legion Park. This one was also refurbished in 1998, and where that one features land-based attractions, this one features water attractions, like lifeguard-supervised swimming and boating classes throughout the summer. It is a good place to take advantage of the city's location by the water.
The Mariner High School is one of the most reputed schools in Everett. The large sports ground is used for a number of sporting as well as non-sporting events. The school building houses the beautiful Choir Chamber built especially for the Choir club. Though it is about a half-hour drive out of downtown Seattle, this farm is a favorite destination for school field trips from all over the area, and it is no secret why. The folks here have created a wonderful, fun learning environment for all kids up through teenage years. The affordable admission will get you a pumpkin, tour and small meal.
