Lake Guntersville State Park is a comprehensive park situated on the banks of the Tennessee River. Overlooking the expansive Guntersville Lake, it spans over 6000 acres (2400 hectares) of land. The park provides excellent recreational facilities. There is a golf course to relax over a game as well. Avail of their lodging facilities, outdoor swimming pool, full service restaurant and much more. It also offers a perfect venue for professional meetings with modern facilities and related amenities.
Spread across four acres (1.61 hectares), Ave Maria Grotto is a miniature recreation of various world-famous Christian places of worship. Located on the premises of St. Bernard Abbey, the structures housed here were created by a Benedictine monk, Brother Joseph Zoettl. Attractions featured here include replications of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France, Rome's famous St. Peter's Basilica, Tower of Babel and more. Various depictions of ancient Jerusalem has given this park a sobriquet 'Jerusalem in Miniature'. Popular monuments and castles are also featured here.
Natural Bridge was formed by erosion of a tributary stream, leaving two giant arches forming a bridge. Scenic picnic area and nature trails available.
