    October 26, 2014 2:00 AM

Montreal-based producer and DJ Tiga (born Tiga James Strong) surprised his family and friends by deciding to work as a rave promoter in the 90s, after graduating from the prestigious prep school Selwyn House. Tiga soon rose to prominence in the underground rave scene, opened the record label Turbo Recordings and began remixing tracks. Eventually becoming highly sought after for his remixes, Tiga decided to start making his own music: an electro breed of dark pop championed by the likes of James Murphy and Soulwax. His music coupled with his boyish good looks and penchant for eyeliner, have made Tiga's live performances popular amongst the young and attractive.
