    »Elvis '68

    September 19, 2014 8:00 PM

It was Elvis Presley at his most charismatic, and only a small group of fans had the privilege of being there... until now. With actor Casey Ryan as Elvis, the musical tribute show "Elvis '68" relives a historic moment in music history, leather suit and all. This stage re-creation of the crooner's 1968 live comeback special explores a pivotal moment in the life and career of Elvis Presley. At the time, Elvis hadn't played a live show in seven years and his popularity was fading. But what was meant to be a safe Christmas concert turned into an intimate jam session, as Elvis and friends intercut rock 'n' roll hits with storytelling and audience interaction.

    »The Importance Of Being Earnest

    September 19, 2014 8:00 PM

Though they're all about dodging social obligations or commitment of any kind, two wily young bachelors attempt to come across as very earnest -- while masquerading as guys named Ernest -- as they set out to win their well-dowried ladies' hearts. Of course, their plan goes hilariously awry. The Project Gutenberg Adaptation of Oscar Wilde's enduring 1895 satire is a wittily sly romp through Victorian society, filled with one-liners and double entendres that still pack a mighty comic punch today. Revived numerous times on Broadway, "Earnest" was also adapted into a 2002 film starring Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth.
