    »Gov't Mule

    October 01, 2014 8:00 PM

Blues and rock jammers Gov't Mule have been playing their soulful extended blues since 1994. The New York based group began originally as an Allman Brothers side project of Warren Haynes and Allen Woody. When the Allman Brothers slowed in producing new material, the duo recruited Matt Abts on drums and began focusing solely on Gov't Mule. Now they are a familiar sight on the playbill of many major music festivals across the country, and are known for lots of guest performances from musical cohorts they're befriended along their journey.

    »Knuckle Puck

    October 01, 2014

Rising out of the south suburbs of Chicago with a melodic brand of pop punk, Knuckle Puck came together in 2011 when vocalist Joe Taylor, drummer John Siorek, bassist Ryan Rumchaks, guitarist Kevin Maida and guitarist Nick Casasanto banded together under a shared love of punk rock and Queen. The group quickly established a balance between emo, punk and alternative rock that was first captured on its debut EP, The Weight That You Buried, in 2013.

Senses Fail is a post-hardcore band from Ridgewood, NJ with a melodic sound. After the band released its debut album Let It Enfold You in 2004, it was met with incredible acclaim. Due to its post-hardcore style, Senses Fail has been expected to support the scene's values. The members have rocked the scene by not having adamant opinions about political issues; they don't mind commercial success, in fact, they welcome it, unlike their fellow members of the post-hardcore scene.

    October 01, 2014 7:30 PM

Adapted from Gregory Maguire's novel of the same name, Wicked re-tells the story of The Wizard of Oz from the point of view of Elphaba and Glinda, two ofthe witches of Oz. According to this version of the famous story, the wicked witch of the west is a misunderstood character whose complex childhood and dramatic history with several of the story's beloved characters, particularly the Wizard of Oz himself, have attributed to her "wicked" reputation. Written primarily for adults, Wicked raises questions about our contemporary ethical standards.
