»Charley Pride

February 28, 2015 8:00 PM

Mississippi-born guitarist and singer Charley Pride is considered one of country music's greatest living performers, and of the genre's few black country music leaders. In fact, Pride was one of the first black musicians to perform at the Grand Ol Opry in 1967, and has since played toured around the world. Pride's music has reached what many consider to be the height of critical and commercial success, with 8 of his singles making it into the Billboard Hot 100, and a Grammy Award win for his song "Just Between You and Me."

»Aaron Lewis

March 21, 2015 8:00 PM

Aaron Lewis is the lead singer of the band Staind. Lewis formed Staind in Massachusetts, where he grew up, and even though the group was known for its hard rock sound they performed multiple acoustic shows. He had played solo shows prior to forming Staind, but didn't release his debut LP Town Line until 2011. His debut single "Country Boy" features a verse by George Jones and a spoken word segment by legendary fiddler Charlie Daniels. Tow Line presents audiences with a different side of Aaron Lewis, since he has written lyrics about the American heartland, instead of the miseries of life.

»Buckcherry

March 28, 2015 8:00 PM

Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, Buckcherry is a rock band that received commercial success with its 1999 self-titled debut album. Despite its early boost in record sales, the band dissolved in 2002 after a disappointing sophomore effort and an unfinished third album. During the hiatus, front man Josh Todd and guitarist Kieth Nelson collaborated on other projects including a short run with Guns N' Roses members that was eventually canned. Todd and Nelson reformed Buckcherry in 2005 and released the album 15 to the same enthusiasm and critical acclaim as the band's debut effort. With its rediscovered success, the band toured as part of Mötley Crüe's Crüe Fest, shortly after releasing Black Butterlfy in 2008, and accompanied KISS on its 2009 to 2010 North American tour. Buckcherry dropped its fifth studio album All Night Long, in 2010.
