Rated 1 out of 5 by AFone Time for Closure I spent 23 years in the Air Force at WPAFB and had spent many, many nights at this location and have never seen conditions so bad. We had the opportunity to stay Space A on base for $6 more or this location and my choice was the wrong one.We guessed perhaps 3 rooms had been booked for the evening (that was the count of cars in the parking lot before bed and in the AM)Room was disgusting, bad odor in the hallways, breakfast was terrible, check-in was long when the girl did not know how to use the CC machine. The room doors don't even have a security lock. Ice machines were not working, only 2 exterior doors were operational. In the kitchen in the morning, NOTHING was refrigerated. I actually would not allow my two kids to eat anything. The waffle mix was water? they had warm hard boiled eggs, warm milk and 5 strips of bacon and 4 warm yogurts. of course perhaps it was sparse because the 4 maintence guys had just concluded their breakfast.I will wrap up with Fairborn is struggling and this property is on its last leg because I cannot see how WPAFB will ever use this property for contract quarters.
